Miami Yacht Club Racing
The Miami Yacht Club is one of the 5 sailing yacht clubs making up the Biscayne Bay Yacht Racing Association (BBYRA). We host MYC regatta’s, BBYRA regattas, and of course weekly Wednesday Beer Can Races. We are the only club with a white sand beach for easy launching of racing dinghies, beach catamarans, and windsufing boards. The club is an incubator for dinghy racing platforms and our fleet includes foiling platforms, ranging from the Nacra 15, Nacra 17, iFLY15, Waspz and UFO.
Our sailors have represented the Miami Yacht Club all over the world: from youth events to the Olympics. Through the efforts of our internationally recognized coaches, dedicated sailors and MYC families, we are truly the “Home of Sailing Champions!”

Racing Committee (MYC RC)
The MYC Race Committee organizes and runs all races for the club and are an essential part of our racing activities. We rely on member volunteers for RC officers and volunteers to run races, set buoys and provide and drive Committee, mark and safety boats for our MYC and BBYRA races.

Wednesday Beer Can Races
Beer Can races take place every Wednesday from 4PM to sundown. Members and guest are welcome to join with their own boats or use the MYC Rental Fleet.
Non-members can rent as long as they are the guest of a current MYC member.
Rental Fleet
Rent a boat from our fleet for half the cost of what you would pay elsewhere. Coaching and check outs are available as needed. Contact MYC for availibility.
