Miami Yacht Club
For over 80 years we have been actively working with our community to foster an appreciation in the beautiful waters of Miami. We teach children, teenagers and adults to sail through our 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, the Miami Yacht Club Youth Sailing Foundation. These classes are open to everyone – not just members of the Club. We provide meeting space to many local, national and international organizations including the Overtown Youth Center, Veterans Oceans Adventures, Lotus House, Amigos for Kids, Rotary Club and others.
We also host the City of Miami Marine Patrol and Underwater Recovery Unit.
Our sailors have represented Miami Yacht Club all over the world: from youth events to the Olympics. Through the efforts of our internationally recognized coaches, dedicated sailors and MYC families, we are truly the “Home of Sailing Champions!”-
